We will begin with a gentle yoga practice, as it serves to better unite the breath and the body, to help us become more present in the moment, to relieve stress and find openess for the sound bath experience. The sequence can be adapted to bring ease to each individual.

 


To Warm Up:

 

Starting in Tadasana, Mountain Pose - find body awareness and grounding, begin deep breathing.

 

Inhale, and bring the arms out and up. Exhale, and release them down. Add a forward fold. Repeat x3.

 

Inhale, and take the arm up and over for a side stretch. Exhale and release. Inhale, and take the other arm up and over for a side stretch. Exhale and release. Repeat both sides.

 

Explore some gentle twisting from side to side.

 

To Focus and Flow:

 

Tadasana, Forward Fold, then Utkatasana (Chair Pose) - moving slow and steady. Step back, High Lunge, then twist. Unwind, return to Tadasana. Repeat for the other side.

 

Adding on, repeat the first sequence then continue from High Lunge to Warrior 2 Pose (Virabhadrasana ll). Reverse Warrior and come back to High Lunge. Step forward to Tadasana. Finish with Tree Pose (Vrksasana) and release. Repeat for the other side.
